Having a baby is expensive! You may want to reach out for breastfeeding help but feel like you can't afford to do so. I'd like to help with that! Did you know that lactation support is covered by most insurance plans? I encourage you to call your insurance company and verify that they offer lactation coverage and what they specifically cover.
When you see me for an appointment in Lancaster, Platteville, Dubuque, Galena, or anywhere in the tri-state area, you will pay me directly with cash or a check. I will give you a superbill for you to turn into your insurance for reimbursement.
If your insurance doesn't cover breastfeeding support or covers very little, and you feel like you can't afford my fee, please get in touch so we can discuss your options. One item to consider is the cost of lactation support is far less than purchasing one year's worth of formula. You and baby are worth it!
